Chelsey Rogers is a Lead Data Scientist at the USDA Forest Service, Chief Data Office, a role she commenced in June 2024. In this capacity, she enjoys contributing to projects that support the Forest Service’s mission.
With seven years of experience in the Data and Analytics field, Chelsey previously held several roles in the private sector with Asurion. During her tenure at Asurion, she was instrumental in deploying real-time AI solutions to enhance call center operations.
Prior to her career in analytics, Chelsey served as a high school mathematics and statistics teacher. She maintains a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development, driven by her profound interest in mathematics, data, and their societal impacts.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friend on her local national forest, the Hiawatha National Forest. She camps, forages, collects firewood, hunts, and soaks in all the beautiful sights and sounds the forest has to offer.
