Robert C. Green, PE

Environmental Engineer

Robert is a professional engineer and serves as an Environmental Engineer in the WEP national office. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2011 with a BS in Civil Engineering.

 

Robert began his career in the Marine Corps, where he attained the rank of Sergeant. After graduating from UT, he worked in the private sector on pipeline installation projects for Shell and Exxon prior to joining USDA in 2016.

 

During his nine-year tenure with USDA Rural Development, Robert has filled many roles, including serving as the State Engineer and the Assistant State Environmental Coordinator for Texas, and currently as an Environmental Engineer for the WEP National Office.

 

Robert has extensive experience with contracts and excels at technical challenges. He has the makings of a home factory complete with 3D printers and CNC machines. Over the last few years, Robert has worked extensively with AI, including image recognition and classification problems. He recently completed a detail for the USDA-CTO, where he served as the data pipeline lead on Don Bitner’s team.
